Welcome to My Review Life, a place where everyday experiences turn into honest reviews, personal stories, and hopefully something useful for the next person.

This isn't a site built around reviewing things I've never tried or places I've never been. The idea is simple: I experience something, form my own opinion, and share it here.

From products I use and movies I watch to cities I visit and everyday life experiences, My Review Life is where I share what I liked, what I didn't, and what I learned along the way.

Here are a few things you should know about My Review Life.

1. Everything Starts With Personal Experience

The heart of My Review Life is firsthand experience.

If I'm writing about a product, it's because I've actually used it. If I'm talking about a place, it's because I've visited or lived there. If I'm reviewing a movie, it's because I've watched it.

And sometimes, I'm simply reviewing life itself — moving somewhere new, trying something for the first time, discovering a great local spot, or realizing that something wasn't nearly as good as I expected.

The goal is to tell you what the experience was really like from my perspective.

2. I Review Things I Actually Use

There are thousands of product reviews online, but sometimes all you really want to know is:

"What is this thing actually like to own and use?"

That's the kind of question I try to answer.

I share my experiences with products I've bought, used, tested, lived with, and occasionally regretted buying.

I'll tell you what I liked, what annoyed me, what surprised me, and whether I'd choose the same thing again.

3. I Review Places I've Actually Been

Travel guides can tell you where to go.

I want to tell you what it actually felt like to be there.

My Review Life includes personal reviews of cities, neighborhoods, restaurants, attractions, local businesses, and interesting places I discover along the way.

Sometimes that's from the perspective of a visitor. Other times, it's from actually living somewhere and discovering all the little things you don't notice during a weekend trip.

The good, the bad, the strange, and the unexpected are all fair game.

4. I Review Movies as a Regular Viewer

You don't need to be a professional film critic to know whether you enjoyed a movie.

My movie reviews come from the perspective of someone who simply loves watching movies.

I'll talk about the performances, story, visuals, theater experience, what worked for me, what didn't, and ultimately whether I think the movie was worth watching.

Whenever possible, I'll also try to keep reviews spoiler-light so you can decide whether to watch something without having the whole movie ruined first.

5. Sometimes, I Review Life

Not everything fits neatly into a category.

Some of the most interesting things to write about are simply life experiences.

Moving to a new city. Adjusting to a different culture. Finding a favorite grocery store. Discovering a great neighborhood. Trying something completely new. Looking back at a place after calling it home.

Those experiences deserve reviews too.

That's why My Review Life isn't only about products, movies, or destinations.

It's about life — and everything that comes with it.

6. You'll Get My Opinion, Not "The" Opinion

Reviews are subjective.

Something I love might drive someone else crazy. A city that feels perfect for one person might feel completely wrong for another.

So I don't pretend that my experience is universal.

Instead, I'll explain why I liked or disliked something and give you enough context to decide whether my experience is relevant to you.

Think of it less like getting a final verdict and more like asking a friend:

"You tried this. What did you think?"

That's the kind of review I want to give you.

7. I Believe the Little Details Matter

Sometimes the most useful part of a review isn't the final rating.

It's the tiny detail someone mentions halfway through.

Maybe the parking is terrible.

Maybe a product looked amazing online but felt cheap in person.

Maybe a city has fantastic parks but brutal summers.

Maybe a movie is worth paying extra to see on the biggest screen possible.

Those little observations are often what help us make better decisions, so they're exactly the kinds of things I try to include.

8. My Opinions Can Change

Life changes.

Products wear out. Cities change. Businesses improve. Movies hit differently the second time around. And sometimes you simply change your mind.

I'm okay with that.

My Review Life represents my experience and opinion at the time I'm writing. If something changes enough to change my opinion, that's another experience worth writing about.

9. The Goal Is Simple: Be Useful

At the end of the day, My Review Life has one simple purpose:

Share real experiences that might be useful to someone else.

Maybe you're researching something before buying it.

Maybe you're thinking about visiting or moving somewhere.

Maybe you're wondering whether a movie deserves two hours of your weekend.

Or maybe you simply enjoy reading about someone else's experiences.
